🧄 Ingredients

  • 1 cup sattu (roasted gram flour)
  • 2 cups rice flour (or wheat flour if not GF)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 green chilies (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  • ½ tsp ajwain (carom seeds)
  • Salt to taste
  • Water to knead
  • Ghee or oil for cooking

🍽️ Instructions

  1. Mix sattu with onion, green chilies, ajwain, coriander leaves, salt, and mustard oil. Add water gradually to make a stiff stuffing mix.
  2. Knead rice flour with warm water into a soft dough.
  3. Divide dough into balls, flatten, and stuff with sattu mixture.
  4. Seal edges, roll gently, and roast on hot tawa with ghee or oil until both sides are golden.
  5. Serve hot with chutney or pickle.
