🧄 Ingredients

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour (maida)
  • ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp oil
  • Water as needed
  • Flour for dusting

🍽️ Instructions

  1. Mix both flours, salt, and oil in a bowl. Gradually add water to knead a soft, pliable dough.
  2. Cover and let the dough rest for 30–40 minutes.
  3. Divide into small balls. Roll each ball into a very thin, large circle using dusting flour.
  4. Heat a large inverted tawa or kadai base and gently place the rolled roti over it.
  5. Cook for a few seconds on each side until light brown spots appear. Do not overcook.
  6. Fold and serve hot with curry or dal.
