🧄 Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup water (adjust as needed)
  • Oil for deep frying

🍽️ Instructions

  1. Mix flour and salt. Gradually add water to form a stiff, non-sticky dough.
  2. Divide the dough into small balls and roll into 4-inch circles (not too thin).
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan. Slide one poori at a time into hot oil.
  4. Press gently with a ladle to puff it up. Flip and fry both sides until golden.
  5. Drain excess oil on paper towels. Serve hot with potato curry or chana masala.
