🧄 Ingredients
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1 cup chopped methi leaves
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- ½ tsp ajwain (carom seeds)
- 1 tbsp curd (optional)
- 1 tsp ginger-green chili paste
- Salt to taste
- Water to knead
- Oil or ghee for cooking
🍽️ Instructions
- In a bowl, mix wheat flour, chopped methi, turmeric, chili powder, sesame, ajwain, curd, salt, and ginger-chili paste.
- Knead into a soft dough using water as needed. Rest for 15–20 mins.
- Divide dough into balls. Roll into thin flat rounds.
- Heat tawa and cook each thepla on both sides with oil/ghee until golden spots appear.
- Serve with curd or pickle.
